What does PDF metadata leak?
Commonly the author name (often your system username), organization, creator software and version, plus creation and modification timestamps. Clearing it before sharing externally is standard privacy hygiene.

No. Only the document info dictionary is blanked and the XMP metadata stream removed; pages, bookmarks and forms are untouched.

Honestly: no. Only document-level metadata is handled — names in the body text, headers/footers or inside images are out of scope; use an editing tool for those.

No. Any change to a signed PDF (merging, compressing, watermarking…) invalidates the existing digital signature — that is the tamper-proof design of PDF signatures, not a limit of this site. Process first, then sign.

Yes — and you can verify it: the tool runs on open-source in-browser engines (pdf-lib, pdf.js, Tesseract OCR…) on your own device. Open DevTools → Network while processing and you will see no file upload requests.
