Why does my PDF say "no form fields"?
Only PDFs built with embedded AcroForm fields can be auto-filled. A scan of a paper form, or a screenshot converted to PDF, only looks like a form — it has no real fields. We say so honestly and the run does not use your quota; the PDF editor tool can overlay text manually instead.

Flattening bakes the filled values into regular page content: the fields disappear and recipients can no longer change them — ideal for final submissions. Without flattening the form stays editable for later updates.

No. Field detection, filling, and export all run entirely in your browser.
Try it ↑Does a digital signature survive processing?
No. Any change to a signed PDF (merging, compressing, watermarking…) invalidates the existing digital signature — that is the tamper-proof design of PDF signatures, not a limit of this site. Process first, then sign.
Try it ↑Can I trust the processing engine?
Yes — and you can verify it: the tool runs on open-source in-browser engines (pdf-lib, pdf.js, Tesseract OCR…) on your own device. Open DevTools → Network while processing and you will see no file upload requests.
