How it works (3 steps)
Upload the PDF and pick a tool
Highlight mode by default; switch to text, draw, rectangle, ellipse or arrow, and pick color and font size.
Annotate the page
Drag to draw highlights and shapes, click to add text; in Select mode you can move, resize or delete anything, and flip pages to annotate more.
Export the annotated PDF
Hit Start to write annotations into the PDF and download _annotated.pdf.

Is my file uploaded?
No — rendering, annotating and exporting all run locally in your browser.
Try it ↑Are annotations editable afterwards?
Annotations are flattened into the page content at export, so they display identically everywhere but cannot be re-edited individually. Adjust or delete them freely before exporting.
Try it ↑Are CJK text notes supported?
Yes — CJK text automatically embeds a Noto Sans SC subset so it renders on any device.
Try it ↑Does highlighting cover the text?
No, highlights are drawn with multiply blending, so text underneath stays readable.
Try it ↑Does a digital signature survive processing?
No. Any change to a signed PDF (merging, compressing, watermarking…) invalidates the existing digital signature — that is the tamper-proof design of PDF signatures, not a limit of this site. Process first, then sign.
Try it ↑Can I trust the processing engine?
Yes — and you can verify it: the tool runs on open-source in-browser engines (pdf-lib, pdf.js, Tesseract OCR…) on your own device. Open DevTools → Network while processing and you will see no file upload requests.
